Jews. As a young man in medical school he was introduced to the man who

Israel's Six-Day War Victory is Remembered on the 37th Anniversary of Ceasefire on the Tovia Singer Show.
First hour: Tovia talks to Walid Shoebat about the Arab perspective at the time. Also: Rabbi Zev Friedman exposes the Lithuanian coverup of war crimes committed by a Lithuanian basketball team during the Holocaust.
Second hour: Egyptian President Gamal Nasser announced, "Our basic objection will be the destruction of Israel. The Arab people want to fight." As 100,000 Egyptian troops massed on the Sinai, Israel took the only action available to prevent certain defeat -- they attacked. A brilliantly planned air attack destroyed almost the entire Egyptian air force as it sat on the ground. A series of armored cavalry and tank task forces then advanced rapidly and surrounded or cut-off Egyptian defenders. Six days later, on June 10, 1967, a ceasefire was negotiated, and Israel gained both territory and the respect of other military forces in the region.
Dr. Samuel M. Edelman, professor of Jewish, Israel and Holocaust Studies at the California State University Chico remembers this historic event, on the Tovia Singer Show. |

Zivotofskys are being represented by Nathan
Lewin and Alyza Lewin of the Washington law firm

the recently enacted Israeli Capital Recognition Act,
sponsored by Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-Queens &

Department to register the Zivotofsky baby's place of

A TRUE CLASSIC:
Curtis
Sliwa, a community activist since his early

sense and law and order on WABC radio heard today,
Sliwa's vision and compelling drive has had an impact on
the lives of millions of urban dwellers, suburban
neighbourhoods and Internet surfers, world-wide.
Recognised by Presidents Nixon, Reagan and Clinton,
applauded repeatedly by New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani,
and honoured by business, entertainment and civic
leaders, he has brought together people from all walks
of life with his concern for the basics of life -
safety, self-esteem, pride and responsibility.
